Full-suspension e-MTB: built for all-mountain and enduro riding

A full-suspension electric mountain bike is not approached the same way as a classic MTB. It requires a stronger frame, reinforced suspension, powerful brakes and wheels capable of handling both the extra weight of the bike and the high motor torque, which can reach up to 108 Nm on some models.

Oversized frames, wheels and brakes

Suspension settings are generally firmer, frames are reinforced, and wheels and brakes are oversized to withstand repeated impacts, braking and aggressive riding on technical trails. The goal is to keep the e-MTB precise, stable and reliable, even on demanding terrain.

27.5+ wheels: 2.8 for grip, 2.5 for precision

The most common wheel standard for full-suspension e-MTBs is 27.5+. Riders looking for grip and comfort often choose 2.8 tyres, while competitors prefer 2.5 for better precision and stronger casings.

Travel, stability and traction

On an electric MTB, having more suspension travel is never an issue—the motor compensates easily. The added weight can even be an advantage for less experienced riders, providing increased stability and traction on climbs and descents.
