Innovations and Design
On its RXF36 forks, Öhlins has done extensive work on the guidance bushings to achieve ideal operating clearance while ensuring minimal wear over time. The RXF36 is equipped with SKF scraping seals, well-known and recognizable by their blue color.
The closed hydraulic cartridge TTX18 is directly derived from the version equipping the DH fork, a 3-time world champion. It is simply adapted in size and constraints for Enduro riding. Thus, it features a main piston of 18 mm and a twin-tube design. Hence the initials "TT" for "twin tube" in English.
This work on the cartridge and bushings aims to make it more responsive and sensitive, with more consistent operation.

Adjustments
The adjustment range of the RXF36 m.2 is specially designed for difficult trails and Enduro races, offering 15 clicks of low-speed compression and rebound for total suspension control. For high-speed compression, you get three clicks plus a climb mode setting. The clicker dials allow for easy on-the-fly adjustments without tools.
The retuned twin-piston, three-chamber air spring system allows you to fully adjust the progression from the initial stroke to bottom-out. The air spring is cartridge-based, so you can easily switch between air and coil spring cartridges if desired.
