The Reform TANTALUS saddle is a thermoformable saddle designed to provide optimal comfort on long gravel rides and technical trails. Thanks to its patented Thermo-Moldable technology, it perfectly adapts to your body shape, eliminating pressure points for an unmatched riding experience. Developed in collaboration with Jesse Melamed, 2022 EWS champion, this saddle combines performance and comfort for the most demanding cyclists.

The pressure mapping technology used by Reform allows visualising pressure points on the saddle surface. Before moulding, pressure areas are clearly identified, and after the process, a significant reduction in these points is observed, improving weight distribution and comfort. Result: prolonged performance and an optimal riding experience.

How Does It Work?

The saddle adapts to your body shape in 3 simple steps:

1. Install the saddle in an optimal position and plug in the AC adapter, ensuring it is in the OFF position.
2. Set a timer based on your weight (see table below) and activate heating by switching the adapter to the ON position. Once the time has elapsed, turn off the adapter and unplug it.
3. Mount the bike immediately and pedal for 10 minutes, changing positions regularly to allow the saddle to perfectly mould to your body shape.

Result: A saddle thermoformed specifically for you, offering unmatched comfort and performance.

Recommended Heating Time

• Weight ≤ 77 kg: 6 minutes
• Weight ≥ 78 kg: 5 minutes 30 seconds

Usage Tips

• Maximum recommended weight: 102 kg.
• Use a compatible seatpost with a 9x7 mm clamp to avoid damaging the rails.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to rain or sunlight to preserve the saddle's durability.
• Tighten the rails with a torque wrench (7-10 Nm) to ensure a secure fit.
• Regularly clean the magnetic connection points before moulding to ensure good contact.
• Do not use the AC adapter if it is damaged.
• Do not turn on the adapter before connecting it to the saddle.
• Always turn off the adapter before removing it from the saddle.
• Ideal operating temperature: between -5°C and 40°C.
• For optimal moulding, use clipless pedals and an optimised saddle position (ideally with the help of a professional bike fitter).
