To avoid getting your wheels retired, SB3 innovated in Adapter Kits to turn a non-Boost hub into a Boost version, explanation:

A front kit contains (to go from standard 15x100 to 15x110 Boost):
- 2 washers to be inserted on each side of the hub (between the fork and the hub)
a disk adapter to be inserted between the disk and the hub.
- Long screws provided.
A rear kit contains (to go from standard 12x142 to 12x148 Boost):

- 2 washers to be inserted on each side of the hub (between the frame and the hub)
a disk adapter to be inserted between the disk and the hub.
- Long screws provided.
