With the Rascal Select, we are raising the level of our trail-oriented automatic pedal shoes. Built on the SupTraction Rubber Soul CL (CL stands for automatic pedal) with a reinforced upper and the Ortholite Eco Plush insole, the "deluxe" version of this shoe does not boil down to its incredible power transfer.
The construction combines rigidity in length with flexibility in width and superior material. This twist construction prevents the foot from being misaligned on the pedal. Special areas for pedaling and ascent provide support on the pedal or walking.
The fit is perfect and the upper material stays well closed thanks to the closing system Serpen_Tie_2.0. So the shoe is suitable for every foot.
The improved version of our closure system even allows to adapt the straps to prevent them from floating. The Airprene_Gaiter of the upper adapts to the ankle and repels dirt while allowing the foot to breathe even in the height of summer. With its Kevlar upper material this shoe is shock resistant. No-Sew_Reinforcements protect the toes against stones and roots.
The Ankle_Pad high ankle pin protects and supports the lower part of the joint without restricting the freedom of movement or control of the bike through the pedals.
The excellent comfort is ensured by a heel support (thanks to a preformed part and padding), a support of the arch and a shock absorbing midsole.
