Featuring 37mm stanchions and the brand's signature inverted stiffening arch, the Manitou Mezzer Pro 29 Boost 180 15mm 51OS fork is the stiffest fork in its category but also the lightest. Its travel is adjustable internally from 140 mm to 180 mm in increments of 10 mm (provided), it will be the perfect fork for your Enduro or All-mountain practice.

Beginnings in a garage
In 1986, the Manitou story began in Manitou (Colorado - USA) - where most bike DIY happens: a garage. The goal was to produce the most technologically advanced products imaginable. The founder, Doug Bradbury, was a mountain bike icon and member of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. He had a maverick spirit and was something of a mad scientist who saw the need for suspension in the “new” sport of mountain biking. He was the driving force behind the very first suspension fork launched in 1989.
The science of smooth
Yes, Manitou pioneered MTB suspension and became the first brand of its kind, but Manitou didn't stop there. Manitou has continued to pursue the “science of smooth” with decades of research & development. National and global testing has allowed Manitou to build a reputation for having some of the most reliable suspensions on the market.
The Hayes and Manitou association
In 2006, Hayes Performance Systems acquired Manitou. It made perfect sense that a pioneering brake company, passionate about mountain biking and innovation, would want to expand its offering by partnering with a pioneering mountain bike suspension company. It was and still is a win-win situation.
Today
Manitou offers a range of forks for all uses. For downhill and freeride, Manitou designed the famous Dorado. For enduro, Manitou offers the all-new Mezzer. For its part, the Mattoc is one of the best all-mountain forks. The new R7 is intended for XC and XC Marathon use. In dirt jumping, the Circus is a reference. For trail running, Manitou offers the Machete. The Markhor is more intended for hiking.

The Manitou Mezzer Pro 29 Boost 180 15 mm 51 OS fork features the Dorado Air air spring, originally developed for downhill riding, to obtain the "smooth" and progressiveness of Manitou forks for which they are renowned. IRT (Infinite Rate Tune) technology is a secondary positive air chamber to reduce the pressure of the main positive chamber in order to increase the sensitivity of the fork on small shocks while having excellent mid-stroke support and great progressivity at the end of the race. The MC2 compression damper allows low and high speed compression to be independently adjusted, providing cushioning suited to all terrains. The lower legs are equipped with TSR (Trail Side Relief) bleed screws to purge excess air accumulating in the lower part in order to maintain the best performance of your fork.
