Assembly advice:
Install the rubber pads on the side parts in contact with the fork legs, these pads protect the paint on your fork and reduce vibrations
Clean your fork, taking care that the threads are perfectly clean and dry, to accommodate the hardware
Select the screws that correspond to your fork model and install them first in the fork WITHOUT FENDER, this in order to clean the thread of any traces of paint or other.
Bend the wings of the mudguard and position it against the fork arch, passing through the rear of the fork
The rubber pads must be positioned naturally in contact with the fork legs
The mudguard holes must be opposite the holes in the fork arch
Install the screws without fully tightening them so that the mudguard can still move
Check the alignment of the system and check that the space between the mudguard and the tire is the same in front and behind
If this is not the case, use the adjustment plates delivered with the mudguard in order to modify the inclination (one plate allows to raise the front of the mudguard, the other allows to lower it)
You can also adjust the distance in height of the mudguard to 6 mm. By adjusting the mudguard to the highest you get better mud evacuation
Finally finalize the tightening of the fixing screws
Lasting advice:
- Check the tightness of the screws regularly
- Remove the mudguard regularly to clean the entire system and your fork legs
- Do not use in sticky mud
- Minimum clearance: 18 mm away from the tire and 10 mm away from the frame in maximum compression
- Do not use if the mudguard is damaged
