Fork Ohlins RXF36 M.2 AIR 29" 160mm BOOST 15x110 OFFSET 51 TTX18 BLACK
On its new forks, Ohlins has carried out a lot of work on the guide rings in order to have ideal operating clearance while guaranteeing low wear over time. The RXF36 is equipped with well-known SKF wiper seals, recognizable by their blue color.
The closed hydraulic cartridge bearing the sweet name of TTX18 is directly derived from the version fitted to the 3-time world champion DH fork. It is just adapted in size and constraint to the practice of enduro. Thus, we find a main piston of 18mm in diameter and a twin-tube type design. Hence the initials “TT” for “twin tube” in English.
This work carried out on the cartridge and the rings aims to make it more responsive and sensitive with more constant operation.
The RXF36 m.2's adjustment range is specifically designed for tough trails and enduro racing, providing 15 clicks of low-speed compression and low-speed rebound for total suspension control. For high-speed compression, you get three clicks plus a climb mode setting. Clicker dials allow for easy on-the-fly, tool-free adjustments.
The retuned two-piston, three-chamber air spring system allows you to completely adjust the level of progression, from initial movement all the way to bottom out. The air spring is cartridge based, so you can easily change between coil and air spring cartridges if desired.
